If you haven’t noticed, Mobile or a cell phone is no longer just a phone that we knew. Today, we CAN take pictures, record video, access email, browse internet, download music, watch TV, use cell phone as a smart card, pay at a shop, listen to podcasts, write your blog and the list goes on almost endless.

Though Cellular Phones started arrving in the markets some time around 1984, the Cellular Life style revolution started in year 2001, the Japanese Wireless Operator NTT DoCoMo started offering world’s first 3G service. It is by far the most memorable and defining parts in the history of Mobile, as its spectacular “i-Mode” have successfully created a new world of Mobile users, who love to do every thing on their Mobiles. Right from accessing email to paying bills at a shop. These early adapters have created a brand new life style around Cellular Phones and inspired the rest of the world. We call it The Cellular Life Style. Some people love to call it Mobile2.0. We don’t argue.

The Cellular Life Style

The rest of world just watched the i-Mode and its amazing success with awe and surprise. By the time it came to senses and started looking at it seriously, 4 sweet years have already been passed. But good news is that 3G access is becoming a reality in the rest of the world too, though very slowly. Many carriers across the world have either already deployed or in trials. So pretty soon, each one of us will have a chance to create a brand new life style around the Cellular phone.

So, the question to be asked at this moment is, “Are you ready” to be part of the revolution, and redefine a new life style around Cellular phone? Or just stay comfortable reading a similar story again in 2010? You can carry an ipod, olympus recorder, Palm PDA, a cell phone, a digital camera, a gaming console, a GPS navigator, a jump drive, a laptop to access internet, …………….. or you can have a smart phone that can do all of these and more.

You absolutely have the right to choose! We respect your choice. Its your style, by all means. I had almost all of them, and it is so painful to carry all or some of them all the time, that I some time figure out a way to get things done without them !!. So I am all in for a Cellular phone that can do all of them. I am all out for a new Cellular Life style.

I just tried some new cool phones and read few books on NTT DoCoMo and learnt how Janapanese Cell phone users are taking advantage of the mobile phones and creating a new life style full of fun and productivity. And I changed my mind. Infact, that is what triggered me start this blog. So I am afraid may be You just don’t have right information to see what amazing things can a mobile do.
